Family Support Workers

We are the Trust’s Family Support Workers, Zoe and Esther.

We are both qualified MH Leads and Thrive Practitioners and are here to listen, and to offer information, advice and guidance on mental health and wellbeing. We can directly support low-level needs such as emotional regulation, social skills, and general wellbeing, and can signpost and refer to other teams if required.

We work closely with all school staff, and also Northamptonshire’s Children's Trust, the Early Help team, School Nursing and Children’s Centres, the Specialist Support Service for SEND and other agencies who can offer specialist or targeted services.

Some of our schools work with the MHST (Mental Health Support Team) who offer support to children, parents and schools around positive mental health and wellbeing.

As a Trust, all our schools are passionate about promoting and understanding the needs of children, using a shared approach around feelings and emotions. We help children to build trusted relationships within school where they can feel safe and secure to talk.

If you have any concerns around your child’s emotional wellbeing, please contact the school or class teacher in the first instance. We can then get in touch and chat about the best way to support your child.

If you have an immediate concern, please seek advice from a medical professional.

If your child is in crisis, please call 999
